Our lives entwined
unbound by time
reveal a path
with much appeal
But such it is
that much of this
is chained to what we feel
About the things
on which it swings
our pendulum of what is real
Beholden to the things too fast
upon which our choices past
have fated with this stamped and faded seal
We might suggest
an answer best
accompanied by ignorance
of what we might need now
To let loose those
that might propose
alternatives to when and why and how
And find a way
to celebrate
the love that fate has sought to plow
Unto the ground
In time unbound
’til risen up our lives are found
